Doctors are gods, said many, but their life security is sometimes under scrutiny. We have seen this during COVID, how life saviors were attacked all across the country. The resident doctors in Delhi have demanded a central security force to guard the hospitals in India.
Letter from the Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital's Resident Doctors said, "We would like to make a sincere request on behalf of all the doctors in our country to kindly deploy CISF/CRPF to their hospital so they can operate freely in a safe and healthy atmosphere." The services of marshals and bouncers were immediately withdrawn from Lady Hardinge Medical College and associated hospitals after instructions from Union Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya. FAIMA president Dr. Rohan Krishna said, 'Despite the fact that private security & police cases of violence against doctors aren't going down.'
