In an interview with Mirror Now about the Himachal Pradesh assembly elections in 2022, Anurag Thakur stated, "We have been talking about Article 370 from the beginning, and we will abolish it." We were talking about the Ram Mandir, and next year it will be completed. We promised to get away with triple talaq, and we did. We promised to take care of CAA, and we did. The uniform civil code (UCC) has now been announced in Uttarakhand and other states, and it will be implemented in Himachal Pradesh shortly. "In 5 years, we have seen how Himachal Pradesh has progressed under BJP rule."
