Kim Jong-un's North Korea has carried out a record number of missile tests this year. From intercontinental ballistic missiles to hypersonic weapons, Pyongyang has performed every possible test to show the world its power as recent strikes from North Korea on its neighbours garner the attention of the entire world. South Korea responded to the strikes by performing various military drills along with the US and has warned its neighbours of severe actions. But still, there seems to be no stopping for North Korea. Not only South Korea, but Kim Jong-un has also started troubling his quiet neighbours Japan. A ballistic missile fired by North Korea on November 9, landed just 200 nautical miles or 370 kilometres away from Japan. North Korea is a nuclear state. The state performed nuclear tests six successful times since 2006. With each test, the kilotons of these missiles increased and the last time it was it was a hydrogen bomb of over 140 kilotons. Four of North Korea’s six nuclear tests have taken place under Kim, became President in 2011. According to the United States Army, Kim Jong-un has between 20 to 60 nuclear weapons. Geopolitical experts now say a seventh nuclear test by North Korea is imminent. Experts also say that the next test could involve the detonation of a super-sized nuclear warhead; even more powerful than the last one. Watch the video for more.
