He claimed that his detention was "political" and that such "vendetta politics" had not before been practised in the nation. In addition, Raut stated that he would meet with Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the upcoming days. On Wednesday, a Mumbai special court granted bail to Rajya Sabha member Raut, claiming that his arrest was "illegal" and the result of a "witch-hunt." Following his Wednesday 100-day release from Mumbai's Arthur Road Jail, Raut informed reporters on Thursday that he will soon see his party's leader Uddhav Thackeray and NCP President Sharad Pawar.
