A man is accused of strangling and dismembering his live-in partner, cutting her body into 35 parts. and threw the parts away at 18 different sites. Aftab Amin Poonawalla, 28, has been detained for the 16-day-long murder of Shraddha Walkar, his live-in partner, and the subsequent dispersal of her body parts throughout the Mehrauli forest. Today, five months after he committed the act, Poonawalla was detained.
We are joined by a few panelists.
"There are lessons to be learned from this incident. Families should never disconnect from their daughters or sons," says Shamina Shafiq, Ex-Member, NCW.
"I've not come across a more horrifying case. This incident happened 6 months back & there was not even a whisper of the same," says DCW Chief Swati Maliwal.
Shraddha's best friend informed his brother that the live-in relationship was turning 'violent'.
