According to reports, the man threw the parts away by scattering them over the course of 18 days in various spots throughout Delhi. Police have named the accused as Aftab and Shraddha has been identified as the deceased victim. Aftab has been missing since then, but Mehrauli police finally detained him yesterday. According to the police, Aftab is accused of strangling his live-in spouse Shraddha on May 18 following an argument. He allegedly then divided her body into 35 pieces and bought a refrigerator to keep them in. For the next 18 days, Aftab reportedly left his house at 2 am every morning to disperse the body parts across Delhi. "Mehrauli Police solved a six-month-old case and arrested one Aftab for killing one Shraddha, slicing her into pieces, and disposing of them," according to Delhi police.
