3:13Now PlayingIn order to determine the sequence of events leading to the brutal murder of Shradha Walkar, investigators looking into the Mehrauli killing case will likely enlist the assistance of other police districts in Delhi and take the accused, Aaftab Amin Poonawalla, to places like Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, sources said on Thursday. A court here granted police custody of Poonawalla for an additional five days. The police will accompany Poonawalla to the areas Walkar and Poonawalla visited after leaving Mumbai to determine whether anything occurred during those travels that led to the murder. “We will talk to the owners and staffers of hotels where the couple had stayed in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand and also make them identify Poonawala. We will also take him to the forest area to ascertain the routes taken by him while dumping the severed body parts,” said a source.
