On Sunday, Putin in an interview with Rossiya 1 state television said Russia was ready to negotiate with all parties engaged in the Ukraine war but Kyiv and its Western supporters had refused to hold any such talks. "We are ready to negotiate with everyone involved about acceptable solutions, but that is up to them - we are not the ones refusing to negotiate, they are," the Russian President told. Russia's February 24 invasion of Ukraine has set off a deadly conflict in Europe since WW2. It was also the biggest skirmish between Moscow and the West since the 1962 Cuban Missile crisis.
