Three out of every four convicts are still awaiting trial as a result of courts, particularly trial courts, being hesitant to grant bail. Most of these prisoners might not even need to be detained. In this episode of Mirror metro with Shreya Dhoundial, the anchor of the Mirror Metro show discusses the state of justice in India. We were joined by Sr. Advocate Ashwani Dubey And Advocate Aditya Singh. Aditya Singh said that when we see a list of cases of this time where custodial interrogation may be required but in some cases bail is not granted where matter appears to be complete.
