People are also more cautious this time as many plans to stay indoors to ring in 2023, in addition to state health departments and district administrations giving advice to keep an eye on Covid cases in India, especially around New Year's celebrations. A study of more than 13,000 residents asked them how they would be celebrating the New Year. Only 2% of people choose to celebrate their birthdays in public by attending a community event.
According to the survey, 3% of individuals said they'll eat out at a restaurant, 2% will attend a large new year's celebration, and 2% would go out to a restaurant with friends.
