He didn't say anything about the type or location of the explosion. There was no immediate claim of the blame for the explosion. A loud explosion was heard near the military side of the heavily fortified airport before 8 a.m. (03:30 GMT), according to locals. Security forces, they said, had sealed off the area and closed all roads.
