The move came after the Chandigarh police filed a case against the leader based on a complaint by junior athletics coach. The minister, has however, dismissed the charges against himself calling it an attempt to tarnish his image. He also called for a fair probe over the matter. Speaking on the issue, BJP spokesperson Vidhu Rawal said, "A fact finding committee is looking into the investigation of the case. The Haryana govt has always stood by victims & has not taken sides."
