6:58Now PlayingOn Sunday, a 47-year-old man committed suicide by shooting himself in Bengaluru. The man stated in the note he left behind that he took the extreme step due to harassment from six people, including a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA. S Pradeep, the man, had invested Rs 1.2 crore in a Bengaluru club in 2018 after being persuaded by two of the men named in the note. They had promised to repay him Rs 3 lakh per month, plus a salary for working for the club. The two men, Gopi and Somiaha, refused to repay Pradeep for several months after taking the money, according to the suicide note.
