The villagers have submitted a memorandum to the MLA. The local leader has blamed covid for development delays. The villagers claim the area lacks good roads and other infrastructure, and requests over the ears went unheard. Interestingly the village falls within the limits of the Sullia constituency, which is represented by Angara S -- the state Minister of Fisheries, Ports and Inland Transport Department. The locals shocked the minister through an open show of dissent while he was in town for the inauguration of a road.
