Aftab was arrested by Delhi Police on November 19, 2022. Today Saket court has extended his custody by 4 days and asked him to physically present in the court for next hearing.
Shraddha and Aftab had met through dating app 'Bumble' in 2018. Later, they shifted to Delhi on May 8, 2022 and stayed in a rented flat.
On May 18, Aftab killed Shraddha, and after chopping her body into 35 pieces dumped them across various places over a period of 18 days.
