The national capital and areas of northern India are covered in dense fog, which has a negative impact on air, ground, and rail travel and forces people to stay inside due to poor visibility. Up to 32 inbound flights were also impacted. According to the reports, three flights—an Air India Express from Sharjah, a SpiceJet service from Ahmedabad, and another SpiceJet plane from Pune—were diverted to Jaipur. Before leaving this morning, travellers are urged to check with their airlines for updates on flight status, according to the Indira Gandhi Airport.
