5:52Now PlayingAccording to the most recent updates from Mirror Now, the Bombay High Court released former ICICI Bank CEO Chanda Kochhar and her husband, Deepak Kochhar, in the ICICI Bank loan-Videocon fraud case on Monday, stating that the petitioners were arrested illegally.
The CBI had arrested the Kochhars on December 23 last year in a case related to alleged irregularities and corrupt practices in the sanction of a Rs 1,875 crore loan disbursed by ICICI Bank to the Videocon Group between 2009 and 2011.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), which has been opposing their bail application, is likely to move the Supreme Court against the Bombay High Court order granting bail to the Kochhars.
