3:59Now PlayingThe Delhi government announced new auto-taxi fare rates on Wednesday. The auto metre will now cost Rs 30 rather than Rs 25, and the subsequent fee per kilometre will be Rs 11 rather than Rs 9.5. After a minimum cost of Rs 40, the passengers will be compelled to pay Rs 17 each kilometre for non-AC taxis. This charge used to be Rs 14 per kilometre. In the meantime, the cost of an AC cab has gone up from Rs. 16 per km. to Rs. 20 per km. The decision is anticipated to be a huge relief for the owners of cars and cabs.
