An official announcement read, "Ministry of Education has formed a Joint Examine Mission to visit the State of West Bengal to review the implementation of the centrally sponsored Pradhan Mantri Poshan Shakti Nirman (PM POSHAN) scheme in the month of January." Members of the Joint Review Mission are recruited from the ranks of nutrition specialists, officers from the Indian government, and representatives from the state governments. The team would examine, among other things, the flow of funds from the State to Schools or implementing agencies, the scope of the Scheme, the accessibility of Management Structure at the State, District, and Block levels, the mechanism for delivering food grains from the State to Schools, and the smooth execution of the Scheme with particular attention to interruptions.
