ISF MLA Nausad Siddiqui alleges that when he and party workers went to Bhangar to bring his supporters to Kolkata for a rally, they came under attack. TMC leader Arabul Islam and his supporters also visited the place and claimed the party office that got vandalised and later set ablaze belonged to TMC. Meanwhile, speaking to the media, Naushad Siddiqui accused TMC workers of fomenting trouble and attacking ISF supporters. The latest news amid the clashes is that ISF MLA Nausad Siddiqui and his party workers were booked by Kolakata police for the violent clashes. Siddiqui was also arrested under the non-bailable section.
