12:31Now PlayingStudents from Delhi University and Ambedkar University have experienced similar treatment from university administration and the police two days after Jawaharlal Nehru University in Delhi abruptly cut off power and electricity to the campus to prevent students from screening the divisive BBC series on PM Narendra Modi. At both campuses, a group of students held signs and protested and the police detained a few of them. More students gathered at the Delhi University's Arts department throughout the day to demonstrate against the application of Section 144 in the region and to halt the screening. By evening, a sizable throng could be seen fighting with the university's security personnel and police. They shouted "Go back, Delhi Police" and accused the authorities of mistreating the demonstrators.
