6:54Now PlayingPrime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a speech at the annual NCC PM rally at the Cariappa Parade Ground in Delhi at around 5:45 PM. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the NCC. The celebration will include the unveiling of a special Day Cover and a specially minted coin worth Rs 75 in recognition of NCC's 75 years of success. Prime Minister in his address said that "Many chose the path of death during our freedom struggle but post independence we have to live & watch India march towards reaching great heights." He further stated that "We mustn't lose any opportunity in Amrit Kaal to take India to heights where it belongs." 196 officers and cadets from 19 different nations were invited to take part in the celebrations in the authentic Indian tradition of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.
