In its latest decree, the Taliban has asked the private universities to not allow female students to sit in the final exams of the universities which are scheduled to take place next month. This step is taken to further prohibit women from getting access to tertiary education in the country. The letter issued by the Taliban has also stated that any university which fails to comply with the orders would face legal action.
