In her budget speech, the Finance Minister stated that the travel and tourism industry has significant untapped potential. "In the future, tourist promotion in India will be undertaken on a broad scale, with active participation from states, sustainable practises, and promoting more PPP engagements," she stated when discussing the tourism budget for 2023. The country has a lot to offer both domestic and foreign tourists. In her Budget speech, Nirmala Sitharaman praises the country's tourist potential.
