There have also been a number of additions to and alterations to the Budget from the previous year. The tax slab has also changed, which is important for families in the middle class. After the Budget, Sitharaman spoke to the media and emphasised the important points. She said, "The private sector gave a lot of push and impetus for the MSME and the middle-class individuals needed a kind of tax breaks and relief through taxation which has been given in this budget."
