5:59Now PlayingIn PM Modi's response to the discussion on the Motion of Thanks to the President's address in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took shots at the Opposition Congress, claiming that the years 2004 to 2014 were "a decade of scams and violence" and that the "UPA's trademark was to let every opportunity turn into a crisis from 2004 to 2014." In his speech, Prime Minister Modi claimed that India now has a stable and capable government and that reforms have been implemented voluntarily rather than under duress. He continued by saying that the reason why people trusted Modi was "my years of service," not newspaper headlines or television commercials. However, the opposition criticized his speech for avoiding the questions asked to him.
