The price of full cream milk has increased from Rs 69 to Rs 72 per litre. The number of individuals affected by the price increase is significant since this dairy sells 14 lakh gallons of milk every day in Maharashtra. Gokul made its announcement a week after Amul, the largest dairy company in India, raised prices by up to Rs 3 per litre on February 3. Gokul has also eliminated the one rupee refund offered to purchasers of the one-litre carton, following Amul's footsteps.
