The family said that while the women were inside, police lit their hut on fire. Local police said yesterday that the two had lit themselves on fire, but 13 people have now been charged with murder by the state police. The station house officer, the bulldozer operator, and the sub-divisional magistrate are among those accused. They are also accused of intentionally hurting someone and trying to kill someone. According to the villagers, they were not given any advance notice before the officials showed up with a bulldozer in the morning. "While occupants were still present, they started the fire.
