6:22Now PlayingAs per the news on Mirror Now, On this day four years ago, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel who were martyred in the Pulwama terrorist assault were commemorated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. On February 14, 2019 in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir, a suicide bomber slammed his car into their convoy, killing around 40 soldiers. The 40 jawans were honoured by the CRPF as well as other security forces. The Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir police, and CRPF members, under the direction of Special Director General Daljit Singh Chaudhry, placed floral wreaths on the Pulwama martyrs' memorial. The terrorist organisation Jaish-e-Mohammed, based in Bahawalpur and led by Masood Azhar, committed the suicide attack. In retaliation, the Indian Air Force struck terror camps in Balakot, Pakistan, within a fortnight. Keep watching Mirror Now!
