The case of the 22-year-old MBBS student from JJ Medical College, who has been missing since November 2021, is being looked into by Unit 9 of the Mumbai Crime Branch. At least 15 months after she went missing, the crime branch arrested two lifeguards from Bandra Bandstand for allegedly kidnapping and killing the girl there, and then discarding her body into the sea at a site from where bodies never come out.
