Sahil, later, kept her body in the refrigerator at a Dhaba in Mitraon village. Post-mortem report says Nikki died as a result of strangulation. No other injury mark was found on Nikki's body, says the post mortem report. However, the exact time of death is still unknown. Pictures of Sahil Gehlot's wedding on day of the murder have also come forward. Meanwhile, CCTV footage has also emerged where Nikki was seen entering the house of the accused.
