1:04Now PlayingBreaking News: On Thursday, CR Kesavan, a member of the Congress media panel and the grandson of the first Indian Governor-General C Rajagopalachari, announced his decision to leave the party, stating that he had not seen any vestige of the value that drove him to serve the party for over two decades. He has also resigned as a trustee for the Tamil Nadu Congress Committee Charitable Trust. "I can no longer declare with a clear conscience that I agree with what the Party presently represents, stands for, or attempts to spread. This is the reason I just declined a national organisational role and abstained from the Bharat Jodo Yatra," according to Kesavan's resignation letter. Rajaji's grandson, however, acknowledged that he had not yet spoken to any other political party(s) and that he was unsure of what was ahead of him. Listen In!
