3:04Now PlayingBJP briefed media and gave full account of MCD house violence. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Bharatiya Janata Party councillors got into a full-blown brawl, punched one another, and shoved one another in the Delhi MCD House on friday night. As of right now, Mayor Shelly Oberoi has declared that the Standing Committee will be re-elected on February 27 at 11 am (Monday). After the Mayor nullified one vote in the election for six members of a crucial municipal committee, an enormous brawl broke out between Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and BJP councillors within the chamber of Delhi's civic body. Following the Mayor's intervention, the BJP halted the vote-counting process. The Mayor stressed that the outcome would still be announced without the illegitimate vote, though. The room quickly descended into anarchy as council members from opposing sides shouted, shoved, punched, and kicked one another. In the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) chamber earlier, members of the ruling AAP and the BJP mounted on tables and screamed epithets at one another.
