2:21Now PlayingBreaking News: A few days after PM Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah attended the swearing-in of the recently elected BJP administration in Tripura, a number of opposition legislators were attacked in the state on Friday. A fact-finding team from the Congress and Left parties came to the capital of Tripura to investigate the post-election violence that had been reported in the state. Police in Agarta reported that they had been attacked in the Sepahijala district. Jyotishman Das Chowdhury, Assistant Inspector General (AIG), Law & Order, reported that all eight members of the team were unharmed and all were safe during the incident at Sepahijala's Nehalchandrangar.
