Both children and adults are experiencing fever, cough and cold. The growing construction projects are making the air quality unhealthy. With detrimental effects on physical and mental health, air pollution has been acknowledged as a serious environmental health risk. "These last couple of 2-3 months, we have seen an alarmingly high number of cases of children with cough, cold and fever. This is like say out of 10 patients that come to our OPD, we have 7-8 having these complains of cough and cold and occasionally they do have complains of lose motions, vomiting, diarrhea things like that as well," said Dr. Behzad Bhandar, Consultant, Pediatric Medicine.
