On The Run, Don Ateeq’s Son Encountered | Will Grind Mafias Into Dust, Says CM Yogi | Urban Debate

These are some of the questions that are arising from the encounter of Asad Ahmed. He is the son of gangster turned politician Ateeq Ahmed. Earlier today he was gunned down in Jhansi by a team of the Uttar Pradesh’s Special Task Force. Both father and son are accused in the murder of Umesh Pal, a key witness in the 2005 murder of a BSP MLA called Raju Pal. Asad was on the run and police claimed he was planning to ambush the police party to free his father Ateeq. A reward of 5 lakh rupees was levied on Asad and Ghulam. Asad Ahmed was apprehended by a CCTV camera during the assault on Pal and had already fled. We are joined by a few panelists who will be expressing their views on this issue. “Our CM Yogi Adityanath believes in the policy of 'Thok Do'. Executive can't play the role of judiciary,” said Samajwadi Party's Abbas Haider.
