2:56Now PlayingAccording to the most recent Mirror Now reports, the Delhi government has issued a show-cause notice to 12 private schools for failing to follow the Directorate of Education's (DoE) guidelines on school books and uniforms. Six other schools have been ordered to be investigated for similar violations by the government. It has not, however, released the names of the schools that are being targeted. The Department of Education stated in an order that schools cannot force parents to buy expensive books and uniforms from specific vendors. The schools were instructed to post a list of all vendors so that parents could choose whether or not to buy books and uniforms from any of them.
