2:56Now PlayingBreaking News: In connection with the case involving Delhi's liquor policy scandal, Manish Sisodia, a former deputy chief minister of Delhi, was remanded to judicial prison on Thursday for an additional 15 days. The inquiry against Sisodia, the now-defunct policy, and its suspected beneficiaries is still being looked at, according to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), which allegedly informed the court of this. Earlier reports indicated that Sisodia may obtain bail from the special court since Special Judge MK Nagapal had deferred his decision upon hearing arguments pertaining to Delhi's excise policy. In a hearing on March 31, the court refused the former Delhi DY CM's request for bail on the grounds that it may "adversely affect the ongoing investigation." Listen In!
