5:31Now PlayingIn this episode of News @7, the host Afrida Rahman Ali will discuss how a 24-year-old Ahmedabad resident was detained by Bandra police on Wednesday after they said he rode his bike across the Bandra Worli Sea Link (BWSL). His family claimed he was unaware that bikes were not permitted on the bridge. However, police arrested him and charged him with trying to commit culpable homicide. We have detained the suspects under Sections 184, 179, 190(2), 3/181, and 4(2)/177(A) of the Motor Vehicle Act as well as Sections 279 and 336 of the Indian Penal Code, according to a police official from the Bandra police station. Section 308 (attempt to commit culpable homicide). We are joined by a few panelists who will be expressing their views on this issue. "Actually that is a human psychology and our culture also. We are a part of indiscipline society. It has been never promoted at the policy level, by the policy makers and even by the enforcers," stated Anurag Kulshrestha, TRAX Road Safety NGO. Listen In!
