1:39Now PlayingAs per the latest update coming from Mirror Now, the Supreme Court reserved its verdict on the AAP government's petition challenging the LG's power to nominate 10 aldermen to the Municipal Corporation of Delhi on his own. The court said, "By giving such power to the LG, you could destabilise a democratically elected MCD body".
The BJP, on the other hand, wants aldermen to vote, while the Aam Aadmi Party protested against it and went to the Supreme Court. It is also alleged that the governor is working wholly under the direction of the BJP and is also trying to snatch the power of MCD from AAP.
