The Supreme Court issued a third notice to lieutenant governor V K Saxena's office on Friday, this time on Arvind Kejriwal's petition accusing him of attempting to scuttle the elected government's recommendation for the appointment of a retired High Court judge as the chairman of the Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC). On January 10, the AAP administration submitted Justice Shrivastava's name to the LG for nomination as DERC chairperson. The file, however, has been passed back and forth between the LG's office and the Delhi government. We are joined by panelists to speak on the issue.
