2:10Now PlayingThe State Bank of India (SBI) on Sunday issued a clarification on 2000 rupee notes. SBI stated that the facility for the exchange of Rs 2000 denomination bank notes up to a limit of Rs 20,000 at a time will be allowed without obtaining any requisition slip. No ID proof or forms are required for exchanging Rs 2,000 notes: State Bank of India issues guidelines for exchanging Rs 2000 Notes. Now, this comes after RBI issued a notice on Friday announcing that it would be withdrawing the Rs 2000 currency notes from circulation, giving the general public till September 30 to deposit or exchange the currency.
