3:17Now PlayingMaharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde flagged off the first bus to traverse the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL). Engineers and workers from MTHL were on board the bus. Trans Harbour Link has improved connectivity between Mumbai and the mainland. The project included the construction of a 22-kilometer-long six-lane bridge with a 16.5-kilometer-long sea bridge and a 5.5-kilometer-long viaduct on either side of the land. The sea link will connect at Sewri in Mumbai, Shivaji Nagar, and NH-4B at Chirle in Navi Mumbai. The link will be India's longest sea bridge. The project is expected to be finished in November 2023.
