"If a single allegation against me is proven, I will hang myself. If you (wrestlers) have any evidence, present it to the Court and I am ready to accept any punishment. These wrestlers were like my children. My own blood & sweat has gone into making them successful. From being ranked between 15-20th in the world, India is now ranked among the top five nations, after my tenure as the WFI chief. I will not get capital punishment by mere immersion of medals in Ganga. If the court announces the death sentence, only then will I be punished appropriately. This is only an emotional drama," says WFI chief and BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh.
