The driver and conductor of the private bus suffered severe injuries when a concrete mixer truck collided with it at Pavanje's important National Highway 66 intersection. Rain fell heavily throughout the incident, disrupting local traffic. The bus driver Manjunath and the conductor Manu have been named as the injured people.
