Senior Party Leader and National General Secretary CT Ravi has blamed the "compromised politics" for BJP's loss in the only southern state they were in power. Not mentioning anyone in particular but taking an indirect jibe at former Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, the BJP leader said, "Had his party not made adjustments and worked on exposing the corruption of Congress, they would have returned to power". He also said that "enough issues not raised by the BJP", hence leading to the defeat.
