2:58Now PlayingBreaking News: The opposition meeting that was slated to occur in Bengaluru on July 13 and 14 has been rescheduled. The meeting will now take place following the monsoon season, which begins on July 20. The announcement comes one day after Ajit Pawar of the NCP took the oath of office as deputy chief minister of Maharashtra, reportedly abandoning his uncle and party leader Sharad Pawar in favour of the Shiv Sena and BJP in Maharashtra, led by Eknath Shinde. The opposition gathering that was scheduled for Bengaluru came after the one in Patna on June 23 that Nitish Kumar, the chief minister of Bihar, hosted. There were 16 opposition parties present at the Patna summit. Keep an eye on Mirror Now for the latest developments.
