Madhab Biswas, a poll worker for the BJP, is said to have been murdered in Cooch Behar district's Falimari gramme panchayat. The TMC's supporters allegedly blocked Biswas from entering the voting place, and as things got out of hand, they murdered him, according to the BJP. The TMC refuted the claims.
