Clashes have been reported in Bishnupur and Imphal. 15 houses were set on fire in Imphal West district. Security personnel fired tear gas shells to disperse a rampant mob. In Imphal East, a large commercial establishment and a few houses were torched. A gunfight broke out between security forces and militants in Kangpokpi.
