as posted by the channelIn this episode of Daily Mirror with Shreya Dhoundial, we will be discussing the tragic fire in a high-rise building in Mumbai. A huge fire erupted in a seven-story building in Mumbai’s Goregaon West on Friday, claiming seven lives and injuring 62 others. The fire began at around 3 a.m. on the ground floor of the Jai Bhavani building, where many shops and vehicles were parked. The fire quickly reached the upper floors, where many residents were stuck in their flats and on the terrace. The fire brigade arrived with eight fire engines, five water tankers, and a ladder. They saved the trapped people and put out the fire by 6 a.m. The injured were taken to HBT Trauma Hospital and Cooper Hospital, where two of them were critical. The reason for the fire is still unknown. The police have filed a case of accidental death and are probing the matter. We have Fire Safety & Evacuation Expert, Deepak Monga with us.
